Conforms to Acme thread standards

For the thread design, the Avibo team started with 3/4″ Acme thread standards. However, based on market research, the team discovered that a significant percentage of extension poles in current use do not conform to Acme standards. To account for this complexity, the Avibo team developed a custom thread design that will fit virtually all 3/4″ threads, regardless of the extension pole brand. While it’s impossible to have a “one-size-fits-all” in any product, we believe that the Avibo Marine Hook will fit the largest number of common extension poles in usage today.
