Description
This is the mint of choice for flavoring both hot and cold beverages, including the classic mojito. To release the most flavor, be sure to bruise the leaves before using. Spearmint grows well in pots, and that’s a good thing, as it tends to spread aggressively when planted in-ground. Plant is tolerant of light frosts and is perennial in zones 3 to 7.
