Description

The HALO H7RICT is an insulated ceiling housing built from aluminum and designed for remodeling applications where the housing will be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. The built in integral thermal protector provides positive protection against overlapping. This recessed housing also features an adjustable socket bracket to assure proper and consistent lamp positioning. The housing’s 7-1/2 in. H allows for use in 2 in. x 8 in. joist construction and an integral flange secures the fixture against the ceiling. 4 remodel clips secure the housing and accommodate ceiling thickness from 1/2 in. to 5/8 in. UL approved and CSA certified, the H7RICT simplifies any remodeling project.

  • Remodel recessed can light housing, ideal for installations below the ceiling for those who have limited or no access to their ceiling
  • Insulation contact (IC) rated, recessed housing can touch and be covered with insulation
  • Wet location approved for safe use when used with select recessed lights
  • Compatible with a wide variety of 6 in recessed lights but is best with HALO 426, 420, 353, 310, 301, 172, 78, 71, 70 and 30 series models
  • Compatible with a wide variety of 6 in LED retrofit recessed light trims but is best with HALO quality RL, RA, SLD, LT, SMD and ML series models
  • For use with 120-volt incandescent bulbs/lamps (not included, sold separately)
  • This recessed housing is not Air-tite rated
  • 3 Quick Connect™ connectors eliminate need for separate wire nuts; 4 remodel springs secure housing and accommodates 1/2 in and 5/8 in ceiling
